Caridina cf. babaulti var. Stripe comes from India and grows to 3 cm. In the trade it also appears as Caridina spec. Stripe.
It needs a tank with fine gravel as substrate plus rock structures or wood; plants as cover add to its wellbeing. The animals are sociable, should be kept in a group and prefer the lower part of the tank.
