The leopard shrimp lives in spring-fed streams in northern Vietnam. It carries a fine dark spot pattern on a pale body and remains a rarity in the hobby.
This is not a beginner species. It needs cool, oxygen rich, low germ water and regular water changes. We have bred it successfully, and part of our stock comes from that breeding.
