The L091 lives in the upper Orinoco and grows up to 25 cm. Mature males have a broader head, stronger pectoral spines and thick odontodes on the head and snout edge. The bump behind the head becomes more pronounced with age.
It is mostly nocturnal and a decided carnivore. Shipping is by animal courier GO only.
